Brown Puppytooth Suit

Garment In Detail – Brown Puppytooth Suit

Latest handover in Leicester with a client for his wedding outfit The client showed me a video asking me to match the fabric, which is usually like finding a needle in a haystack. I did, however recognise this fabric from the much loved and much used Town Classics from Dugdales.

Having used the bunch many times over, I have never used this particular pattern before but I knew this would make up wellThe drape that the weight give is so elegant and styling really sets this suit out.

Made in a 3 piece with single breasted, button 2, proportional peak lapels and angled pockets and finished with a imitation horn button to complete the look.

The vest is a traditional single breasted option with welted pockets and a vertical watch hole as the client intends on wearing a pocket watch on his his day.

The cloth reference is from Dugdale English & Town Classics Reference 9474

The lining is from Dugdales Classic Lining reference T5226 Brown.

The thread is tonal throughout.

The buttons are mock horn buttons.
