Where Do We Meet?
Where is most suitable for you? You can either arrange appointments at one of our showrooms in Lichfield, Birmingham, Warwickshire or London. Or, should you prefer, I will visit you at your home or office.
Do You Make Ladies wear?
I am afraid I don’t. The reason for this is simply that females are looking for a feminine garment, whereas men generally are looking for a more structured garment. I am a firm believer in mastering one discipline.
How Much Will The Suit Cost?
When you order a custom suit from The Bespoke Tailor, the price varies from customer to customer. This is because the suit is tailored to your own taste, so the costs, such as fabric and other subtle details, differ between customers.
I Have Seen A Suit Online, Is it Possible For You To Create This?
If you have seen a suit online, then please do share, and I will do my best to make this dream a reality.
Do You Travel Outside Of The U.K?
Yes. I have an ever-growing client base around Europe and beyond in the USA and Dubai. For those looking for a British tailor, please get in touch to arrange.
When Do I Pay?
When ordering a tailored garment (suit etc), you will have a number of fittings. Once you have decided on the cloth you want and the style of cut you are looking for, a 50% deposit is taken. Only at the final handover is the remaining balance paid.
On ordering a shirt, you pay the full amount.
Do You Do Alterations?
Unfortunately, I do not do alterations.
How Long Does It Take To Make A Garment?
This is based on the level of work I have at the time of ordering. The least time it can take is 2 months* up to as long as 6 months from initial ordering.
*There is also an Express Service available for a surcharge.
Do You Sell Vouchers?
Absolutely. If you are looking to purchase a voucher for an existing client or for someone who loves bespoke tailoring, I can produce vouchers for a value or a garment and post them out on a date of your choosing. I then call and make arrangements to see the client.
How Long Do Appointments Take?
This depends on you. If you know the cloth and style you are after, then the actual measuring can take as little as 10 minutes. However, there have been occasions when I have been with clients all day! The average initial consultation takes around 1.30 hours.
Where Are The Fabrics Sourced?
I specialise in English or Scottish-made fabrics. However, given that other countries are specialists in certain types of fabrics, I can source these too. Many younger clients like Italian fabrics.
