Choosing your wedding attire can be a very stressful time. You have probably been searching the internet and thinking about whether it’s best to buy or hire, whether you should wear a formal suit or a tailored 2 or 3-piece suit, whether the suit will fit the wedding theme and by now you are probably as confused as you ever have been. Well that’s where I come in.
The Bespoke Tailor have been in the tailoring industry for over 20 years and have vast experience in creating men’s wedding suits.
So, what exactly should a man wear on the most important day of his life; his wedding day? There is one crucial thing that I’ve learnt about wedding day attire and that is nobody can tell you what your style is, only you can do that. That’s why people come to me or to be more accurate that’s why I go to them. Being a tailor who has no retail operation, I am able to travel the length and breadth of the UK to visit my clients at a time and place that suits them. By meeting my clients in their own surroundings, I am able to gain a better understanding of their needs, their personality and their style, allowing me to create more personal and individual garments.
One of the great joys of being a tailor is designing a suit that fits a client to perfection. Bespoke wedding suits are a great opportunity to have everything created perfectly for you. A tailored bespoke suit will make you look and feel amazing. With a bespoke suit, it’s all about individual design reflecting your personality and choosing a cut, style and fabric that fits perfectly with your body shape and the statement you want to make. A tailor-made suit should make you feel special, distinctive and very much an individual. This is what I aim to achieve with all my clients and it’s what my definition of fine tailoring is all about.
Many factors need to be considered when choosing your wedding suit; the style of wedding, time of day and individual taste. A popular choice for men’s wedding suits is the tailored two- or three-piece that fits you perfectly, makes you feel comfortable yet ceremonial, and has the versatility to be worn again after the wedding. It makes financial sense to invest in garments you can wear more than once.
Of course, the formal look is the familiar and go-to option for many weddings. This can range from a full morning suit, tails, tuxedo, stroller jacket, dinner jacket or dark suit.
I will make the whole process as simple as possible for you and make sure you enjoy the wedding planning experience. With over 20 years’ experience in the UK menswear and tailoring industry, I travel all over the UK providing a bespoke service and a ‘Savile Row’ experience direct to my clients’ door.
