Having been in the tailoring industry since 1996, Adrian Barrows has seen every aspect of tailoring from working on the shop floor, the designing process and creating garments for high end corporate accounts and celebrities.

Setting up The Bespoke Tailor with the view to providing world class tailoring and exceptional service. The kind of service that you remember and the quality of garments that make you feel special when you wear them.

Tailoring is my blood...

Adrian Barrows’ uncle was a top designer during the ‘60s and ‘70s working with brands such as Aquascutum and Daks so has always been subject to incredibly made garments. This, coupled with his mother being an artist and my father being an engineer, has contributed to the DNA as a tailor. Whether it’s having an eye for fine design or the  precision involved in pattern cutting, tailoring is in the blood.

The career of Adrian Barrows has taken him from working in a luxury menswear boutique with a fine tailoring heritage, co-founding one of the leading names in British tailoring and finally to launching The Bespoke Tailor. Over this time he has made some fantastic  friends in the industry and have established some very strong contacts with high profile clients.

Garments to fit lifestyle, personality and distinct style

One of the main drivers for launching The Bespoke Tailor was to go and see the client in a location, environment and setting that was suitable for them. I knew that having a retail operation would be restrictive in terms of the clients I could get to see and the time I could devote to them. By concentrating solely on the importance of my clients, I can visit them at home or work and spend time getting to know them and creating garments that fit in with their lifestyle, personality and distinctive style. This allows both me and the client to build a good rapport and to spend the time that’s necessary to create the kind of wardrobe they are going to need.

It also means that I can give my clients superb value because I don’t have the overheads of a high street operation.

Whether it’s a suit for a wedding, a selection of garments for the office or creating a wardrobe for different leisure pursuits, I get to the heart of what my clients’ need and work closely with them to design and create garments that are bespoke to them.

Finest British Cloth

Great Britain has always had a proud tradition of tailoring and as a British tailor that is fiercely proud of this heritage; I strive to uphold this tradition to the highest of standards. In Great Britain we have the finest weaved cloth in the world and as a tailor who doesn’t compromise, I only want to work with the best. That’s why people like to work with me and it’s why I love what I do.
